The Oakland Jazz Funk Project believes  jazz is a living language that continues to grow and evolve.  Jazz didn't die in 1959.  It lives on in funk, neo-soul, R&B, fusion,  jazz-funk and so much more. OJFP honors and plays it all, from straight-ahead jazz to 70's funk to contemporary neo-soul.  Jazz lives on and OJFP  keeps it alive and relevant!  Their music  will warm your heart, speak to your soul and is sure to get you off your feet and dancing!
